You know how people like to congregate in the kitchen at parties? That’s how we see our cafe: as a gathering space as comfortable as the kitchen in your own home.
Here you’ll find:
Complimentary pour-over coffee* and tea and snacks
Organic, vegetarian lunch buffet on Wednesdays
A refrigerator stocked with snacks, kombucha and juices available for purchase
*Why pour-over coffee? Because we want to put the “break” back in coffee break. We encourage you to get up from your desk every once in a while, catch your breath and chat with another member while your coffee brews or your tea steeps. You’ll thank us.
What's the Deal with All The Water?
Drinking water is one of the easiest things you can do for your health. According to the Mayo Clinic, the average woman needs about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluid every day from water, other beverages and food.
To help you stay hydrated, Sphere provides flavored sparkling and still water in bottles you can take right to your table. Heck, we even walk around on the hour refilling your glass!
We feel great when we’re pursuing interests we love, whether that’s writing a business plan (or a novel), volunteering for a nonprofit, or planning a vacation. At Sphere, we also believe passionately in the value of meditation, which research shows boosts your health, mood and connection.
But instead of adding meditation as another line on a long to-do list, we want to make it easy for you. That’s why at Sphere, we offer:
“Better than Coffee” morning sun salutations and guided meditation
A quiet room where you can meditate any time
Daily afternoon rest sessions—just like preschool naptime!—in the fitness studio with blankets, relaxing music and candles
“Minute of Mindfulness,” in which we ring a Tibetan bell on the hour to remind us to check in with minds and bodies. It’s a practice inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village retreat center and is totally optional (but super healthy).
